For our office we designed and built an ADU (accessory dwelling unit) as a case study behind our house. We focused on creating a unique space using affordable materials that would be energy efficient and comfortable, all while reducing carbon impact.

    Techniques used included; advanced framing, all exterior insulation (perfect wall), rain screen, careful air sealing, and construction methods that allow each material and technique to express itself. Check out the book for more details!
